Out-of-State Business Registration
To register your out-of-state LLC or corporation, you must register as a foreign entity in Connecticut. Foreign LLCs must file a Foreign Registration Statement and pay a $120 filing fee. Foreign corporations must file a Certificate of Authority and pay a $385 filing fee. You’ll also need to appoint a Connecticut registered agent. Sound like a lot? No worries!
